I can't even tell you how much fun I've had making the clothes for these outfits.  I'm going to start role playing again, and I've been digging out some of my own old creations, and more excitingly, I've been able to find some of the items that inspired me in the first place.  And, check out this shoes. So, this is pretty much my favorite outfit ever.  And I have to say, I'm heap proud of the fact that I made the majority of what Bailey is wearing.  It's taken a long time, but it's been such an amazing experience.  Every time I make something, I can see how I've improved.  The best part by far, however, is all the awesome people I've gotten to meet along the way. 

Anyway.  Bailey is wearing my favorite suspenders, made by League.  I actually made these pants so that they'd be at the proper height to be worn with them.  The shoes, from UBU, are customized to look -exactly- like the ones I wear in real life (Yay!).

The weapons are from my old CCS roleplaying/combat days.   Perhaps some day they'll get dusted off and used again, but for now they just look bitchin'.  At least, I think they do.  :D

Steampunk Princess in Victorian London

I must say, I am in love with the new update of Kirsten's Viewer.  I didn't touch these in Photoshop at all, except to add the bars at the top and bottom.  That never happens, on account of that I am a photoshop whor... I mean.. enthusiast!

I visited Legacies, a dark roleplay sim set in London,1891.  It's very well organized, and a gorgeous sim.  Everyone I encountered was very friendly and welcoming.  Along with text roleplay, Legacies also uses the LaRPS combat system.  Normally, I wouldn't be looking for an rp sim with combat, but there are so many people to help you learn that I may very well check it out. 

Isn't this dress amazing?  It's from Rotten Toe's Victorian Decay collection.  I'm only showing the dress, but it also includes the following: shape, shoes, skin, stockings, and a neck piece.  It even has three different versions of the skirt.

The Steampunk Doll Key featured was made from scratch by yours truly, and sold at ++ Randomocity ++.  It comes in both scripted and unscripted versions so you can have it spin if you'd like.. but also save on scripts when necessary.  The tattoo is part of my Steampunk collection and is sold in a pack that includes sixteen versions of the tattoo.  Not bad, eh? Did I mention that I drew those wings myself? Bitchin'.

This great hair is Serena from >TRUTH<. One huge plus about their hair is that it is fully modifiable.  It was very easy for me to remove sections of the hair to show off the Steampunk tattoo underneath.  Prim gears (not pictured) are also available in my stores, both on-line and on the marketplace.

The Assassin

If she closed her eyes for a moment, she could almost pretend that she was doing one of her regular workouts; the soft sounds of exertion, the gentle touch of perspiration rolling down her skin. But the feel of the other woman's body against hers did not let her escape into the fantasy of the mundane. Eve opened her eyes again to see the strands of red hair in front of her face, the dark liquid eyes that met hers briefly, before returning to focus on other parts of her body. Eve grit her teeth and moved her hand down the back of the other girl's neck.
"I don't want to do this," she muttered through her teeth. The other woman chuckled lightly, one of her hands finding a similar grip against Eve's skin, obviously mistaking the meaning behind the words, the intent of the gesture.
"You already are, just relax and go with it," she whispered back. Eve tightened her grasp on the neck, the other hand moving across bare skin to rest against the woman's chin, drawing another pleasurable sound from her mouth, but Eve's response was to growl in frustration. This wasn't the moment to hesitate, but she couldn't continue denying it; she was enjoying herself, enjoying this woman.
"I'm sorry," she murmured into her ear as she leant forwards and tightened her grasp of the neck and jaw. The girl barely had time to register surprise at the apology, before Eve twisted, the neck breaking with a sickening crack. The girl cried once, sharply, before her body went slack in Eve's arms. The assassin remained still for a whole minute, allowing her breathing to fall back to normal before unentangling herself from the body. Her hands shook slightly, and she gave them a rage-filled glare at the betrayal as she quickly slipped back into her clothes.
"Get it together, dammit," she hissed at herself angrily. This was her job, she couldn't let personal feelings cloud her ability to carry it out. But she nearly had. Eve made the mistake of giving her target's body a final look before turning to leave; the girl's face was frozen in a look of shock, hurt, betrayal. She choked back the suddenly rising sick feeling in her throat, and stormed off into the night just as it began to rain, welcoming the cold droplets of water that obscured her tears. The sooner they washed away, the sooner she could pretend they hadn't happened. Forcing a tiny smile, she slid both pistols out of their holsters and continued walking. It was already time for the next job.

Never Take us Alive

He watched the body resting on the shadowed ground, the blood still fresh, pooling around the man's head like a dark black halo, flecked with liquid moonlight. For now, the night still clung to the sky, but already the cloying sensation of the nuclear sunrise only a few hours distant began to thicken the air. The blood gleamed as it spread, but it wouldn't take long to coagulate in the coming heat, and the flies would soon follow, hoping to steal a quick feast before the larger carrion birds were drawn by the scent of recent death. The cigarette between his lips smoldered slowly, unwanted now after the recent violence. They never wanted it to come to this. Pulling the stick of tobacco loose, he flicked it at the dead man's feet and raised his head.

"They'll all be after us now," he murmured softly into the muddy red hair in front of his face. The woman shifted her body against his, her back pressed tightly into his chest. A soft sigh reached his ears, his own, as her hand grasped the material of his jeans tighter. Desire was still alive amidst the death.

"Let them come," her voice lazy, almost dreamy to a point as she contemplated the corpse with quiet satisfaction. She turned to face him, eyes blazing with a defiance that belied the look of calm on her lips, which made a small 'o' as she blew away the curls of smoke still rising from the barrel of the gun. "They won't take us alive."

Vermilion Assassin

Fear spread through his body like the dark stain of blood from beneath a dying man.  His muscles trembled in time with the pounding of his heart as he stumbled through the dark corridor, frantically searching for a place to hide.  He never saw the crumbling patch of cement ahead of him, or the thick, gnarled root that would soon snag his ankle and send him sprawling to the unforgiving ground.

The sickening crack of bone echoed as he skidded to a stop, his eyes shut tight against white bursts of pain.  Swearing under his breath, he pulled himself to his knees and looked up into a glinting, silver ring.

Resignation flooded into him like relief as the image before him focused.  She had found him.

Soldier

What had he been before the war?  A fiancé, a business parter, an idealist.  What was he now?  The dregs of his last cigarette settled into the rotting floorboards as Adriel hoisted his weapon and began his patrol.  The burning embers gave way to ash as the acrid smell of smoke and the thud of boots against cold, cracked Earth faded into the distance.

When the stars abandon the sky

     After the impact, pyres of thick, black smoke from ruined cities blotted out the sun and plunged the
world into months of perpetual twilight.  Survivors used what weapons they could find to protect what was left of their families and possessions.  Life went on, as it almost always does, but it was a wistful existence.  Most could feel it in the fetid air, though few spoke their fears aloud.  Far more dangerous things lurked in the night than bandits, and the worst was yet to come.

Welcome to Randomocity!

Welcome to the Randomocity blog!  I've been wanting to start one of these forever, and have finally made myself sit down and do it.  This is my -throw every special photoshop effect you know into one picture- picture.  Hopefully I'll learn a little technique before long.
